Over half of the book features the titular story, Anamorphosis.The titular story is a sort of horror-mystery about a group of people who were invited for a contest to see who can stay in a supposedly haunted set for 48 hours after an evil and murderous spirit is summoned by a medium into a recreation of the murder scene. The rest is a collection of bizarre shorts designed to make you go ( ﾟдﾟ)！？

SAIZO Horihone – Kuro and Marco

Kuro & Marco is the first non-guro work from noteworthy guro mangaka Horihone Saizou. The titular story has four chapters. It’s an eccentric one about space kids who live in some kind of bizarre alternate universe solar system, where comets are giant dogs, robot people live in a certain part of the the asteroid belt, animal people live on other planets, and the earth is still ruled by dinosaurs. The other stories in the book are various thematically unrelated shorts, but it’s worth noting that he still managed to sneak a story in about tearing organs out of live prisoners, even though it lacked explicit depictions of violence (apparently, an actual Japanese practice in the old days).

This is a guro short involving a boy and girl who are studying human anatomy. The boy figures it would be easier to learn directly than just through a book, so he starts dissecting the girl alive (with her consent ^^ ). There’s a little bit of eros thrown in as well in some parts.

This is a rather bizarre short by Karma Tatsuro.
The men’s wives are construed as “doors” throughout the comic. It humorously depicts some of the potential downfalls of having a housewife alone at home while you’re at work. It’s not guro, but is bizarre so I’m lumping it in with Guro/Bizarre,
as well as regular h even though there is nothing
disgusting or gory about this. This guy is known for coming up with some pretty odd stuff.
